Fuel prices are example of public exploitation: Sarma
Pratapgarh/Jaipur: Assam CM Hemanta Sarma criticized the Ashok Gehlot govt, accusing it of corruption and appeasement. Addressing the Vijay Sankalp Sabha in support of BJP candidate Hemant Meena in Pratapgarh, Sarma asserted that the public would reflect their dissatisfaction with the current govt in the upcoming assembly elections. Sarma expressed concerns about the alleged corruption by Congress MLAs and the Gehlot government in the state, he cited the higher petrol prices in Rajasthan compared to other states as an example of public exploitation.
Taking a dig at Congress, Sarma highlighted the party’s inability to build the Ram temple in 60 years and the abrogation of Article 370. He criticized Congress for allegedly trying to break the country. At Jaipur airport, Sarma accused the Congress govt of practicing appeasement politics and expressed confidence that BJP would secure a massive victory. He cited the Udaipur murder and emphasized the need for prompt action.
