Fortis hosp docs sent to police custody in Organ Transplant Case
Jaipur: Two doctors of Fortis Hospital who were arrested in the organ transplant case were sent to police custody till May 15. Dr. Jitendra Goswami and Dr. Sandeep Gupta were produced in a court which ordered police custody for interrogation.
A team from Jawahar Circle police station had searched the house of both the doctors and their chamber in Fortis Hospital till late Saturday night. Police claim that there is enough evidence against both the doctors. On May 10, the police had arrested Fortis Hospital nursing staff Bhanu Lavvanshi alias Bhanu Pratap in the case.
