First India Blue triumphs over ITG Chowk by 26 runs; Mukesh Bagra named ‘Man of the Match’
Jaipur: On Wednesday, the second day of the 20-20 Cricket League competition organised by Pink City Press Club, First India Blue started its victorious journey by defeating ITG Chowk by 26 runs in its first match at KL Saini Stadium in Jaipur.
The Captain of the First India Blue, Bharat Dixit’s decision of batting first after winning the toss, proved correct when the team scored a total of 203 runs with brilliant batting displayed by Mukesh Bagra 74 (50), Garvit Narang 30 (19), Bharat Dixit 24 (19) and Vinod Sharma 21* (14) in 20 overs.
In response, ITG Chowk’s batsmen made a steady start, but facing the tight bowling of Devendra Singh (2 wickets), Nirmal Tiwari (1 wicket), Pawan Bagra (1 wicket), Vinod Sharma (1 wicket) and Vikas Bagra (1 wicket), ITG Chowk lost 6 wickets in 20 overs and could score only 177 runs. The 2nd match of First India Blue against team Siyasi Bharat will be held today.
