FI Reality Check: Govt schools in bad shape
Jaipur/Jodhpur/Bikaner/Kota/Jaisalmer/Barmer: The reality check conducted by First India News has revealed the deplorable conditions of the government schools of Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Bikaner, Barmer, Jaisalmer and other areas.
First India reached the government schools and conducted a reality check during which it was found that the reports of better arrangements in government schools proved to be false and the government schools were in a bad condition. It was at Government Higher Secondary School at Jaipur’s Nangal jaisa Bohra where teachers were sitting in a room and the classrooms in the schools are locked till 9 o’clock.
In the school with a strength of 800 children, only 4 children were found who were roaming here and there without a teacher. There was dust in the computer lab. Principal Karuna Rawat was not present and the attendance register was being signed in the principal’s absence.
In Jaipur, especially that of primary school of Pratapnagar area and the government school located in Rajendra Prasad Colony. Bad conditions have come to light from toilets to children’s rooms.
Education Minister Madan Dilawar spoke about First India’s ‘reality check’ and said, “We are continuously trying to improve the systems. There are definitely shortcomings in some schools, we will improve them.
