Execute CM’s budget promises: Vishvendra
Jaipur: Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh said that the implementation of budget announcements and timely disposal of pending cases is the topmost priority of the state government. He said that apart from promoting tourism, the state government is working with commitment to give a new identity to the art, culture and ancient heritage of the country and the world.
He was speaking in the review meeting of the budget announcements of the Tourism Department held at the Secretariat on Thursday. “There is immense potential for the development of tourism in Rajasthan. The state government is making every possible effort to promote tourism.
Along with this, many important decisions have been taken by the state government to promote tourism activities, including industry status to tourism, new tourism policy and increase in the amount of tourism development fund,” he said. He directed the designated officers to fulfill the budget announcements of the CM Ashok Gehlot on priority.
Principal Secretary of Tourism Department Gayatri Rathore said that the state government has provided many facilities and concessions for the tourism sector.
