Even OPS brand ambassador didn’t get benefit: Shekhawat

Jaipur: Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has taken a dig at Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s announcement of five guarantees. Shekhawat made five posts one after the other on social media and wrote that the Centre has constituted a committee to review the Old Pension Scheme. The state government has announced this scheme, but there is a flaw in its implementation. While implementing this scheme, the female employee who was made the brand ambassador of OPS, did not get its benefit.

Shekhawat further wrote that in the New Education Policy 2020, every student has been given the freedom to study in his mother tongue till primary school.

As far as the currently running English medium schools are concerned, not a single school has a teacher educated through English medium and 58 percent posts are vacant. Recently, 125 teachers of English schools applied to be reinstated in Hindi medium schools, because they were unable to teach through English medium. The government had announced to give a maximum compensation of Rs 40,000 to the cows in Lumpy, which has not been fulfilled till date. The Union Min wrote that the govt had earlier also talked about an insurance cover of Rs 25 lakh in the Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme. But till date not a single person has been given medical aid worth Rs 25L. Govt had announced to provide free laptops to meritorious students but promise has not been fulfilled yet.
