Educated, young ‘team Bhajan’ with RSS imprint

Jaipur: A fortnight after becoming the Chief Minister, CM Bhajan Lal Sharma announced his 22-member team. It was already predicted that names of educated, young people included in RSS-branded ‘Team Bhajan’ would be surprising and that is exactly what happened. In the formation of team, every effort has been made to maintain a clean image and caste equations along with Lok Sabha equations of Mission-25. 12 OBC MLAs were given place.

In this, the original OBCs, who are considered the traditional vote of BJP, have also been given participation. Currently, five places have been kept vacant to rectify some shortcomings. The Council of Ministers was kept away from the influence of former CM Vasundhara Raje. No MLA, who was among her special supporters, was given a place in the team. Surendra Pal TT was a surprising name in the team and his inclusion has surprised even Cong. With regards to to Karanpur poll, this is being considered as a master stroke of BJP to reduce sympathy factor in polls.

Veteran and experienced faces like Jogeshwar Garg, Kalicharan Saraf, Pushpendra Singh, Pratap Singhvi, Srichand Kripalani, Ajay Kilak & Anita Bhadel were kept away from the Council of Ministers. At the same time, famous faces Vishvaraj Mewar, Balaknath, Mahant Pratappuri (who have won for first time) Siddhikumari (who has won elections for 3 consecutive times) and youth leader Deepti Maheshwari (who became MLA for second time) could not get a place. But even after this, ‘Team Bhajan’ seems to be completely energetic and to the liking of central leadership.
