ED entry in Secretariat creates ‘concern’

Jaipur: An atmosphere of concern has covered political and administrative areas of the Secretariat due to the entry of ED. Some believe this is just the beginning and the scope of investigation, that started from IT, may increase in the coming days.

ED can also knock on the door of Water Supply, Food and Cooperative Department as complaints of alleged ‘huge scams’ related to these departments have reached ED. At present the investigation is limited to IAS officers only.

Meanwhile, there is news of ED summons being issued even at the political level. Meanwhile, the alleged contact of Rs 400 crore given to the advertising company of Bangalore is also under investigation and the name of a local newspaper published from Jodhpur is also coming in the investigation.

Overall, the much awaited entry of ED in Rajasthan has now becoming a reality.
