Dy CM Diya gives nod to rise budget of ‘Balika Sambal Yojna’

Jaipur: Deputy CM Diya Kumari has increased the amount given under “Mukhyamantri Balika Sambal Yojana” from Rs 10 thousand to Rs 30 thousand.

She has given financial approval for the increase in the amount given under the scheme to eliminate gender discrimination in the society and encourage the birth of girl child. This amount will be given on the birth of the first and second girl child and in case of sterilization thereafter.

Deputy CM Diya Kumari has also approved extending the period of 21 years under Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. It is noteworthy that the beneficiary account of Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana will be opened with an amount of Rs 25 thousand under which Rs 250 will be deposited in the girl’s account every year. Also, the Deputy Chief Minister has given financial approval for a 10 percent increase in the honorarium of ASHA Sahyogini. The increase will come into effect from April 1, 2024 under which ASHA sahyoginis will be given an amount of Rs 4508 instead of Rs 4098.
