DR SUDHIR BHANDARI ASSUMES CHARGE AS ACTING VC OF RUHS

Jaipur: Dr. Sudhir Bhandari, principal of SMS Medical College, on Monday took charge as acting VC of the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences. Dr. Bhandari has been given additional charge of VC till the permanent appointment is made.

He expressed his gratitude to the state government. RUHS VC has changed after 11 years. Dr. Rajababu Panwar was holding the post of VC since 2010.

However, in Jan 2017, Rajeshwar Singh remained in charge for seven days. Dr. Rajababu Panwar’s term ended on Jan 15. From 2006 till now, 5 people have taken command. Dr. PPS Mathur was first to become VC .

This was followed by Padmashree Dr. Ashok Panagariya, Dr. Shashi Singhvi, Dr Rajababu Panwar, & Rajeshwar Singh.

Senior doctors Manoj Sharma, Dr Sud hanshu Kakkar, Dr Ajit Singh, Dr Jagdish Modi, Dr. Rakesh Hirawat, Dr. Praveen Mangalooniya, Satyendra Chaudhary congratulated Dr. Sudhir Bhandari.
