DR CHANDRA’S JODHPUR ELECTION FEEDBACK TOUR!
Jaipur: As part of his ongoing Election feedback tours, Dr Jagdeesh Chandra undertook a whirlwind tour of Jodhpur parliamentary constituency on Sunday to gauge the reach and popularity of Bharat24 and First India News channels and assess the on-ground situation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and the Jodhpur seat election trends.
Dr Chandra met the BJP candidate and Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who is also the sitting MP from Jodhpur & a two-time winner (2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections) and conveyed his best wishes to the BJP leader. Dr Chandra also paid a courtesy visit to Shankar Singh Shekhawat, the father of Gajendra S Shekhawat. Shekhawat holds a clear edge over Karan Singh Uchiyarda, a new contender from the Congress, who is projecting himself as the ‘Son of Jodhpur’ along with a photograph of former CM Ashok Gehlot in his hoarding campaign. Jodhpur goes to polls on April 26, in the second phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who is the Union Cabinet Minister in the Ministry of Jal Shakti is also the Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare and National General Secretary of the BJP, Kisan Morcha, looks set to secure a hattrick victory in the Jodhpur constituency.
Dr Jagdeesh Chandra took grassroots-level feedback for the Jodhpur seat trends as per the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from the common people. As part of his onground assessment and evaluation, Dr Jagdeesh Chandra met IG Jodhpur, Vikas Kumar and also the Police Commissioner Jodhpur, Rajendra Singh and the Deputy Police Commissioner, Sharad Chowdhary.
