Doc gets into Limca Records for maximum leopard rescues
Jaipur: Senior veterinarian, Forest Department, Dr Arvind Mathur’s name has been registered in the Limca Book of Records for rescuing a maximum number of leopards in the country. The nominations for the record of 2021 were released by the Limca Book of Records.
By the year 2021, on records, Dr Mathur had rescued a total of 59 leopards, while off records the number is 67 leopards rescues. He had rescued leopards in 14 districts to date. Dr Mathur has performed rescue operations at all the inaccessible places including jungle, houses, dhore, rocky areas and others.
