Jaipur: Governor Kalraj Mishra while addressing a special meeting of Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts and Guides at Raj Bhavan on Monday, said that Scouts and Guides and educational activities should be effectively implemented in all the schools and colleges of the state. Under the 100- day action plan of the state government, the activities of Scouts and Guides groups have been made effective by registering them in 1,500 new schools. Mishra said it is important to establish residential schools for Scouts and Guides in Raj. He also appreciated the work done by such schools in Jagatpura, Jaipur & Khudi, Laxmangarh, Sikar for developing creative abilities of students. He called for effective implementation of co-scholastic activities of Raj State Bharat Scouts & Guides in all funded universities & colleges of Raj. “Maximise benefits to youth through Scouts and Guides,” he stressed.
