Delhi effect: 38 coaching centres sealed, notices sent to 31 others
Jaipur: In response to a tragic incident in Delhi where three UPSC aspirants died in a coaching institute’s basement, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has taken decisive action to ensure the safety of students attending coaching institutes. He directed all local bodies to enforce strict safety measures and to crack down on any violations of safety regulations.
Chomu Nagar Parishad in Jaipur seized multiple libraries and imposed penalties on coaching institutes and libraries lacking proper fire safety equipment.
Jaipur Police conducted a thorough investigation of the safety standards in coaching institutes operating in Jaipur city. The police inspected 438 coaching institutes and libraries. Irregularities in safety standards were found in 65 institutes, in which notices were issued to 31 institutes and 38 institutes were sealed. The JMCG has formed a committee dedicated to inspecting coaching institutes.
