CS Pant conducts surprise inspection at Psychiatric Centre, miffed over absentees
Jaipur: Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant reached the psychiatric hospital in Jawahar Nagar. As soon as the CS reached the hospital around 11:15 without any prior notice, there was panic among the medical workers. The Chief Secretary looked at all the arrangements in the hospital for about an hour. Chief Secretary Pant first reached the OPD and saw the overall arrangements to analyse the working conditions.
After that, Pant proceeded to examine the emergency services, the RRC (Rehabilitation and Recovery Centre), and the telepsychology services offered by the institution. During his visit, he also took the opportunity to solicit feedback from patients present within the hospital, seeking to understand their perspectives on the quality of care provided.
Expressing dissatisfaction with certain aspects of the hospital’s operations, Chief Secretary Pant highlighted concerns over the absence of some medical personnel during his visit. Additionally, he issued directives aimed at enhancing the levels of cleanliness within the hospital premises, emphasizing the importance of maintaining hygienic standards in healthcare facilities.
