CS chairs review meeting on preparedness

Jaipur: After about 25 years, the meeting of the Northern Zonal Council-Northern Zonal Council will take place in Jaipur. The 30th meeting of the proposed council on July 9 will be presided over by the Union Home Minister. In this meeting, the CM, CS and other officers of the states associated with the council will participate. The Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territories will also take part in the meeting. The issues, points and concerns of 8 states and union territories will be discussed in the meeting. The meeting will also see in-depth discussions on interstate issues. Regarding its preparations, instructions were given to complete all the necessary preparations in a meeting held in the secretariat under the chairmanship of CS Usha Sharma on Thursday. CS directed all arrangements related to traffic, accommodation, security, medical and IT for the representatives, guests, officers etc., attending meeting.

The members of the council of 8 states and UTs include Rajasthan, HP, Haryana, Punjab, New Delhi, Chandigarh, J&K & Ladakh. On this occasion, Secretary Planning Jogaram made a presentation on points related to preparations for meeting.
