Cops start work at police stations and outposts in new districts
Jaipur: Rajasthan now has 50 districts. CM Ashok Gehlot issued notification of the new districts. In all the new districts, the work has started smoothly and postings of District SP level officers have been done by the state govt. Now, the police headquarters has also determined the police stations and outposts in the new districts.
According to the orders issued from the police headquarters, the police station, outpost, deputy superintendent office and all other police offices coming under the jurisdiction of the newly-created districts will be considered adjusted in the new districts, while all the policemen posted in these will automatically be considered adjusted in the newly created districts.
Besides, the police headquarters has instructed all Range IGs to provide at least 50 police personnel in the new districts under their jurisdiction, which will include policemen from constable to sub-inspector, to the new districts. Work is being done at the police headquarters level for the number of people in the newly created districts and soon orders will be issued for the number of people in which district after an instruction from the DGP.
