Coop society babu, tehsildar wife held as ACB raids three locations
Jaipur: The Anti Corruption Bureau of Rajasthan has registered a disproportionate assets case against deputy registrar cooperative societies Jhalawar Rai Singh Mojawat and his wife Asmita Singh.
11 teams of ACB conducted search operations on the premises of Mojawat in Jhalawar, Jaipur and Udaipur and found the value of their assets more than their sources of income following which a case was registered against them.
The couple invested in agriculture lands, residential and commercial plots in various cities, jewellery etc. The ACB recovered documents of six plots, three houses in Jaipur, Jhalawar and Udaipur, farm house in Jhalawar, 6.25 bigha land in Kumbhalgarh, etc. having value of crores of rupees.
Apart from this, Rs 44000 in cash, 315 gram gold jewellery also recovered. The couple also have bank deposits of Rs 12 lakh and two bank lockers. The ACB is probing the matter.
