Congress State unit organises foot march in parts of city

Jaipur: The state unit of Congress on Thursday organised a foot march at various places as part of the Bharat Jodo Yatra that began in the presence of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Kanyakumari. The Block Congress Committee workers took out a foot march in Hawa Mahal assembly constituency on Thursday morning. Former President of Block Congress Mitroday Gandhi, local councillors and senior leaders of the party participated in the foot march. The foot march began from Subash Chowk and ended at Chaugan Stadium via Jaleb Chowk. Hundreds of Congress workers participated in Bharat Jodo Yatra with a tricolour flag in their hands. Hawa Mahal MLA and PHED Minister Dr Mahesh Joshi could not participate in the Bharat Jodo Yatra as he was in Delhi.
