Congress follows Udaipur Declaration & appoints office bearers from all communities

New Delhi/Jaipur: Late on Monday evening, the hard work of PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasra finally paid off when list of office bearers of Rajasthan Congress was released. Dotasra had stayed in Delhi for five days to get the appointments finalised.

Notably, Congress’ Udaipur Declaration was followed to the hilt in the appointments as 33 office bearers have been made from Dalit community, about 21 of which are from ST class. Moreover, 33 office bearers have been appointed from Jat community and 15 appointments have been done from Muslim community and 30 women have also been given representation. 60 percent appointment have been done of those below the age of 50.

Sitaram Agarwal has been made Treasurer while Dr Jitendra Singh, Naseem Akhtar Insaf and Gajraj Khatana, Hakam Ali, Ghanshyam Mehar, Bharatram Meghwal, Jagdish Chandra Jangid, Manju Meghwal, Virendra Beniwal, Hiralal Darangi, Hungilal Mewara, Kailash Meena, Ratan Devasi, Ramvilas Choudhary, Ramesh Khandelwal, Sushil Sharma, Jagtar Singh Kang, Samarjit Singh, Rafiq Mandelia, Rajkumar Jaipal and Darshan Singh have been appointed as Vice President, said a party official.
