Cong prepares for by-polls, plans protest today against BJP remarks
Jaipur: In view of the upcoming assembly by-elections in Rajasthan, Congress leaders Govind Singh Dotasra and Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa held a meeting with key Congress officials from various constituencies of Dausa, Jhunjhunu, Deoli-Uniara, Khinvsar, Chaurasi, Salumber and Ramgarh. They discussed organizational feedback and strategic plans for the elections.
Dotasra directed all district and assembly incharges to hold discussions with party workers and strengthen organizational efforts. After these local meetings, he plans to tour these constituencies and conduct large public gatherings featuring senior party leaders. The leaders emphasised the need for party members to engage actively in the areas to highlight the failures of the BJP govt.
Dotasra condemned disrespectful remarks made by BJP leaders against the LoP Rahul Gandhi and announced a protest today at 11 am at Shaheed Smarak in Jaipur, urging a large turnout of Congress workers and officials.
