Conference to be held for maintaining communal harmony
Jaipur: The chairman of the Rajasthan State Commission for Minorities Rafeek Khan on Thursday said that a big conference of people of all religions will be organised on maintaining communal harmony. He said that a meeting of the commission’s members was held on Wednesday in which a discussion on several agendas was held.
Briefing the media about the meeting, Khan said that discussion was held on how the benefit of the schemes being run by the state government for the people of the minority section can reach maximum beneficiaries.
Khan also informed that an all-religion meeting will be convened to hold deliberations on how communal harmony can be maintained. He said that the commission will work while taking it all together.
He said there was also discussion as to how to help those people who are locked in jail without any reason.
On a question related to Sachin Pilot, Khan said that Congress is a big party and the high command takes all the decisions in the best interest of the party.
