Concerns over revenue allocation in Transport dept

Jaipur: In a significant revenue review meeting of the Transport Department, several questions were raised regarding the allocation of revenue.

The Additional Chief Secretary of Finance, Akhil Arora, chaired the review meeting concerning revenue-related issues in the transport department. During the session, officials from Dungarpur and Alwar highlighted concerns over the revenue allocation of the Transport Department.

Despite the closure of Ratanpur and Shahjahanpur check posts, officials pointed out inclusion of additional amounts to the target terming it wrong and demanding amendments in the same.

The meeting, which aimed to scrutinize revenue allocation, brought to light discrepancies that demand immediate attention and rectification.
