Collector leads cleanliness drive on holiday

Jaipur: On a Sunday, when government offices are closed, a cleanliness drive was conducted in the offices and branches on the district collectorate premises where officers and employees were seen engaged in cleaning the premises.

District Collector Jitendra Kumar Soni was seen cleaning the area with a broom. During this, district level officers, including Additional District Collector, Sub-Divisional Officer also cleaned the offices and disposed of damaged furniture and unnecessary material. Stagnant water was drained out and arrangements were made to prevent mosquito breeding.

Soni said that under the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign, Swachhata Pakhwada is being celebrated from September 17 to October 2. “This positive initiative will help in cleaning government offices. The efficiency of the personnel will increase and the general public will get inspiration for cleanliness,” he said.
