CM: Role of Civil Societies crucial for societal devp
Jaipur: A workshop on budget announcements on the theme ‘Janta ka Paisa, Janta ko’ was organised at Birla Auditorium on Friday. On this occasion, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that he is worried about the atmosphere prevailing in the country today. “Role of Civil Societies crucial for societal development, he said, adding, “Writers, public, journalists do not know in which direction the country is going. When the budget was presented, the Opposition said that from where would this much money come. Then we had said that it will come by magic and it is coming. Today there is an atmosphere of tension on caste and religion in the country. Rahul Gandhi toured India in BJY with an aim to bring all the people together. I implemented the OPS plan. Now, GoI has formed a committee for this. Now the Centre is working on it. But when we suggested, then the committee wasn’t formed.
All our plans are good. Be it Right to Health or other schemes. From April 24, camps will be organised in the state to give relief from inflation in which the general public will get relief,” he said.
CS Usha Sharma said that an initiative has been taken by state govt in the form of inflation relief camps to make public utility schemes accessible to masses.
