CM, BJP core panel brainstorm over by-elections on 7 seats

Jaipur: The BJP state core committee meeting was held on Sunday at the Chief Minister’s residence, focusing on strategies for the upcoming by-polls in seven assembly seats. The Committee also discussed potential candidates for these seats.

Attending the meeting were CM Bhajan Lal Sharma, State President Madan Rathore, State in-charge Radhamohan Das Agrawal, and State Co-In-Charge Vijaya Rahatkar.

Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav and BJP’s Haryana In-Charge Satish Poonia participated via video conferencing.

Dr Radhamohan Das Agrawal highlighted the improved coordination between the government and the party, particularly between CM Bhajanlal Sharma and BJP State President Madan Rathore.

He stated that the organisation plays a crucial role in communicating government initiatives to the public while relaying the people’s concerns back to the government. This enhanced cooperation is evident in the current administration.

He emphasised the need to rise above casteism and collectively pursue development, urging party workers to share the remarkable achievements of the BJP government over the past nine months, which have benefited all segments of society, including the poor, Dalits, and women.

BJP State President Madan Rathore expressed confidence in the party’s strategy, asserting that the BJP is poised for a spectacular victory in the bypolls. He predicted that, like in Haryana, Congress would face defeat in Rajasthan as well, stating that “the mask of Congress’ lies and illusions will now fall off.”

Rathore mentioned that a micro-management strategy has been developed for each booth across all seven assembly seats, reiterating the party’s faith in its workers, who he described as the party’s core strength. “In BJP, workers function like a family. Their dedication will ensure the lotus blooms in all the bypolls,” he added.

By-polls are set to take place for the Jhunjhunu, Dausa, Deoli-Uniara, Chorasi, Khinvsar, Salumbar, and Ramgarh assembly seats in Rajasthan.

The Jhunjhunu, Dausa, Deoli-Uniara, & Chorasiseats became vacant after MLAs were elected to LS. The Salumbar seat was vacated due to BJP MLA Amritlal Meena’s demise, and Ramgarh seat became vacant following the death of Congress MLA Zubair Khan.
