‘Chauthi Baar, Gehlot Sarkaar’ slogans in event on Mahatma Gandhi
Jaipur: The closing ceremony of twoday Gandhi Darshan Sammelan, organised by the Department of Peace and Nonviolence with the aim of taking the principles of Mahatma Gandhi to the people of the state, was coloured in political overtones on Wednesday.
In this program organized under the chief hospitality of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, prominent speakers talked about repeating the Congress government, while slogans of ‘Chauthi Baar, Gehlot Sarkaar’ (Gehlot government for the fourth time) were raised in the auditorium. Most of the Congress workers from across the state were seen in this convention held by the Department of Peace and NonViolence at the Rajasthan International Centre in Jaipur. The goal of the conference was to spread the propaganda of Gandhi’s principles across the state by brainstorming in Jaipur.
Gandhi Peace Foundation President, Kumar Prashant and senior journalist Om Thanvi addressed the program and their address revolved around criticism of policies of Centre. Kumar Prashant claimed that the people present in the program will prepare such an army of 50,000.
