CEC brainstorms over remaining seats in Raj
New Delhi: Congress leaders brainstormed in CEC meeting at New Delhi about the remaining seats for the Rajasthan Assembly polls. According to informed sources, there was no discussion on 29 seats in Monday meeting.
Congress Prez Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, KC Venugopal, CM Ashok Gehlot, Gaurav Gogoi, in-charge Sukhjinder Randhawa, GS Dotasara, co-incharge Amrrita Dhawan and Qazi Nizamuddin were present.
“We clear names on the basis of consent. We work without any controversy. Rahul ji didn’t object to any ticket. You will see new faces in new list. Talks are yet to be held on 25 to 26 seats. We will fight polls together. Candidates will file nomination from today. There is no anti-incumbency against govt in Rajasthan,” State Congress in-charge SS Randhawa told the media.
