Buses on 27 new routes to end commuting woes in Jaipur

Jaipur: In order to end public transport problems, the Transport Department has approved more than two dozen new routes in Jaipur Gazette notification issued following instructions of the Chief Secretary Usha Sharma. People are facing trouble due to the lack of public transport in Jaipur. Sharma had instructed the officials of the department to explore the possibility of new routes and start them soon. The RTO selected new routes and after getting approval from the traffic control board, the department issued a gazette notification. A total of 27 new routes have been started in Jaipur.

Transport Commissioner KL Swamy said that 27 new routes have been approved in Jaipur after conducting a special survey. The new routes are those where the number of commuters is more as compared to the number of vehicles plying.

• Cheel Gadi Restaurant B2 Bypass to St. Xavier’s College Naveta.
• Rawat College Ajmer Road to Malpura Gate.
• JECRC to Khaniya Bandha.
• Shankar Lal Dhanuka Vidyapeeth to Goner Bus Stand.
• Khania Bandha to Sitapura Circle.
• Harnathpura to Bindayaka.
• Kanakpura Railway Station to Bhankrota.
• SKIT College to Naveta.
• Sanganer Police Station to Sirauli.
