BJP to gherao Secretariat today, PM Modi’s tweet enthuses leaders
New Delhi/Jaipur: BJP leaders targeted the Gehlot government in a press conference held in New Delhi on Monday. State in-charge Arun Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Kirodi Lal Meena, MP Bhagirath Choudhary and MP Sukhbir Singh Jaunapuria addressed a joint press conference at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi. The leaders surrounded the Gehlot government alleging increasing corruption and deteriorating law and order situation.
Arun Singh said that there is an outcry all around in Rajasthan. “Sisters and daughters are not safe, Rajasthan is number 1 even in the case of atrocities on women and Dalits. On July 28, 21 incidents took place in Rajasthan within 24 hours,” said Singh.
Counting the figures of NCRB regarding the crime graph in Rajasthan, Singh further said that almost every day 17 to 18 rape incidents are happening in Rajasthan. But Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi or any other Congress leader did not go there and meet the victims.
