‘BJP Prez accuses Raje govt of corruption, Rathore should resign’
Jaipur: PCC President Govind Singh Dotasra on Wednesday, retaliated on the allegations of corruption leveled by LoP Rajendra Rathore. Talking to the media in PCC, Dotasra said that the allegations were made when the UPA government was at the Centre and that time PM Modi had also made those allegations, there was no truth in those allegations.
“I blame Rajendra Rathore that your state President CP Joshi had said that this game of corruption has been going on since 2013, then Rathore was a Minister in Vasundhara Raje’s government, so how can Rathore give himself a clean chit?,” he said adding that Rathore should resign from his post taking responsibility.
Dotasra spoke to the media after attending a meeting of Rajiv Gandhi Panchayati Raj Sangathan, an important organization of Congress, at the PCC. State Congress in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and other leaders were also present.
Dotasra told the representatives of Panchayati Raj to be ready for the future as well.
In the meeting, CB Yadav and Dinesh Sunda kept various demands. Under Schedule 11, Panchayati Raj has been given only five subjects out of 29, there is a demand that 16 important subjects should be given. Dotasra assured the public representatives of Panchayat Raj that the government would consider the demands.
On PM’s visit to Rajasthan, Dotasra said, “No matter how many times the PM comes, it will not make any difference to the people of Rajasthan. Even before he came but he did not say anything on the ERCP. He had also gone to Karnataka, what happened there?,” he said.
