BJP holds protest at Statue circle; Alka Gurjar turns emotional in PC
Jaipur: BJP National Secy Alka Gurjar started crying while talking to media at the state BJP hqs on Friday while addressing the Bhilwara matter. Alka had gone to spot on Thursday.
Comparing Bhilwara incident with the tandoor incident in Delhi, she said, “A small girl of ours was burnt alive in a furnace. This is not acceptable to us. We had never thought that this would be the condition of women in Rajasthan. Seeing all this makes me cry, it hurts,” she said. “Even after this, there is no statement regarding this incident at the CM’s level. I have nothing more to say.I demand the resignation of the CM in this matter,” she said and got emotional.
Former minister Arun Chaturvedi said that Gehlot is an incompetent CM. “I cannot use stronger words than this. It is not only about Kotri incident.,” he said.
In Ajmer, BJP MLA Vasudev Devnani attacked the Congress govt over the Bhilwara incident. “If there is any morality left in CM Gehlot, he should resign from his post. In the last four years, incidents of rape have increased in Rajasthan,” said Devnani.
