BJP demands arrest of accused in Sanjay Pandey suicide case
Jaipur: Controversy is increasing in the Sanjay Pandey suicide case in Kanota. Relatives created a ruckus on Friday outside the mortuary at SMS Hospital. They said that until the accused is arrested, a post-mortem will not be done and the dead body will not be taken. Police officers tried to convince them but talks failed.
After this, Rajya Sabha MP Kirodilal Meena, former BJP state president Ashok Parnami, city president Raghav Sharma and BJP leader Rajpal Singh Shekhawat reached the spot outside the SMS police station. The BJP workers demanded the arrest of the accused and raised slogans against the Ashok Gehlot government. Meena said that this is the failure of the government. “There is no such thing as law. Sanjay Pandey had to commit suicide. Today his family has become homeless. This government is responsible for all the mess,” he said.
