After facing protests, Patel gets death threat on phone
Jalore: BJP candidate from Sanchaur and Jalore-Sirohi MP Devji Patel has received death threats a day before his convoy was attacked. The MP has registered a complaint regarding this. Police are investigating the matter.
According to information, an unknown person called Patel twice and threatened to kill him.
After this incident, Patel targeted the opposition and said that antisocial elements are doing such acts. He said, “The opposition has become very nervous and because of this, people are making threatening calls. Police will take action against such people.”
After the BJP gave the ticket to Patel from Sanchore, there was a lot of opposition. Enraged by the selection of Patel by the party, protesters attacked the BJP candidate on Wednesday, pelting stones, smashing glasses of the vehicles.
