After denying drinking in resort, owner brutally attacked; no action by cops yet

The case (Watch The Video Here) is of a resort located on Jaipur Road in Bikaner where the owner of the property was attacked brutally when he denied a few visitors of consuming liquor on the premises and in the swimming pool of the resort. 

As per the victim Subhash Legha, on the evening of May 4, Kuldeep Bishnoi, Kailash Bishnoi, and three others with him had come to the resort following which, Subhash did not allow them to have alcohol inside the premises, so they decided to leave. As they were leaving, their car collided with the board of the restaurant which created a ruckus. After seeing the crowd gathering, the accused left for the police station, and Shubhash was called there.

The accused wasn't there, but his accomplices in large numbers were present at the spot. In front of the policemen, Shubhash was threatened with a brutal attack if he files a case but when Shubhash filed a complaint at 7 pm, the accused tracked Subhash and his other victim friends Jainul Khan and Rishiraj Singh at their resort and attacked him severely with iron rods and sticks. “Nearly 18-20 people attacked us with rods and we were helpless.

We have given the CCTV Footage (of the incident to the cops as well and it is well available now in the public domain too. For months, the case file is floating from officer to officer and now finally, the file has reached a new official who has started to investigate and is expected to present a report in their domain within a week,” said Subhash Legha, owner of a prime resort in Bikaner.

The police have not been able to investigate the case even after three months. The registered complaint of this case has gone out of the hands of the then sub-inspector of the police station to three other officers. Now for the fourth time, the case has gone to Additional Superintendent of Police Rural, Sunil Kumar. 

“One of the accused Kuldeep has political links and is associated with a student union group. I think he is being backed by someone and the reason for this case being hanged till now is this. We really hope we get the justice that we deserve so that the faith of public is restored in the system,” adds Subhash.
