Act against illegal miners: ACS directs officials

Jaipur: Additional Chief Secretary (Mines) Dr Subodh Agarwal on Friday took a meeting of mining officials and directed them to take strict action against illegal mining activity in the State. Agarwal said that under Rajasthan Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 2017, there are provisions for conducting mining activities in a safe and scientific manner keeping in mind the health standards of miners. In case of noncompliance of safety standards, actions should be taken to stop mining activities in the concerned areas.
