9.96L cases set for hearing as Raj holds third National Lok Adalat
Jaipur: Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority held the third National Lok Adalats across the state on Saturday. Justice Anoop Kumar Dhand officially inaugurated the Lok Adalat in the new building Satyamev Jayate of the HC premises in Jaipur. A total of 514 benches have been constituted in subordinate courts, including Jodhpur Main Bench & Jaipur Bench, where cases are being heard online and offline. A total of 9 lakh 96,053 cases, including 4 lakh 29,028 cases pending in the courts and 5 lakh 67,025 pre-litigation cases have been identified for hearing. The aim is to provide cheap, accessible and quick justice to the common man.
He said that cases here are settled with the consent of both the parties.
