40 police officers from Togo undergo training in Jodhpur
Jaipur: Chief of Police of South African country Togo Republic UV Okopol and VIP Security Chief Col. Horu called on Director General of Police Umesh Mishra at Police Headquarters here on Thursday and thanked him for training 40 police officers of Togo.
Mishra expressed happiness over 40 police officers from Togo undergoing training at Rajasthan Police Training Center, Jodhpur. He said that the best training facilities are available in Rajasthan Police Training Institutes. He expressed confidence that such training programs would further strengthen the ties between the two countries.
Praising the training, UV Okopol said that he himself and all the trainees are completely satisfied with this training. He also said that similar training programs will be organised in the future. Deputy Inspector General and Director of Rajasthan Police Training Center, Jodhpur, Harendra Mahawar said that special VIP security and commando course is being organised from January 11, 2023, for 40 police officers and employees of the South African country Togo Republic at the Jodhpur centre.
The total duration of the Special VIP Security and Commando Course is 12 weeks & during this time, the subjects related to commando and VIP security are imparted in this training.
This course is given in a training form in Commando Tactics, Map Reading, Field Craft, IED Explosive, Medical First Aid as well as Hostage Rescue Missions. On this occasion, DGP Mishra presented a memento to the DGP of Togo. Togo DGP also presented him with the flag of Togo Police.
