27 patients undergoing treatment, 7 critical
Jaipur: Two more patients injured in the Bhankrota fire tragedy have succumbed to their injuries, bringing the total death toll to 14. Thirteen victims have died at SMS Hospital, while one fatality was reported from Jaipuria Hospital.
SMS Hospital Superintendent Dr. Sushil Bhati said that 13 deaths occurred at the hospital, where 27 patients are still undergoing treatment. Among them, seven patients remain in critical condition on ventilators.
Meanwhile, on the accident site, traffic lights at the U-turn have been repaired, and electric cables are being installed. The burnt vehicles from the fire present a haunting scene, drawing attention from passersby.
