PM Modi conferred with Egypt’s highest State honour ‘Order of the Nile’ award
Cairo/New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on Sunday conferred Egypt’s highest state honour -- Order of the Nile. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi bestowed the award upon PM Modi in Cairo. This is the 13th such highest state honour that various countries across the world have conferred upon PM Modi in the last nine years. The Order of the Nile is a pure gold collar consisting of 3 square gold units on which there are Pharaonic symbols. Later in the evening, PM Modi left for New Delhi after concluding his firstever visit to Egypt.
