Seoul (South Korea): BLINKS, it’s a time to rejoice! According to media reports on April 26, it has been revealed that BLACKPINK will make its official comeback this June. The report says that the comeback was confirmed recently and the girl group is gearing up for their mid-year album release.
Jennie, a member of the band had confirmed in a YouTube video that BLACKPINK will be making a comeback soon and that fans should wait for it. This had excited BLINKS all around and everyone was already waiting eagerly for the next detail about their upcoming album.
BLACKPINK will be making a comeback after a year and eight months, the longest hiatus that the group has taken. Despite this, the quartet used to meet regularly and always posted videos of each other. When members Lisa and Rosé came out with their solo albums, the girls made sure to support each other by being physically present during the music video shoots and also posted cute videos of dancing together to those songs. This content made the fans even more desperate for a BLACKPINK comeback.
Fourth member Jisoo had also made her debut as an actress with the critically acclaimed series ‘Snowdrop’ and fellow members had hyped the actress by sharing snippets from the times when they were watching the show.
BLACKPINK is one of the biggest Korean girl groups around the world and has garnered fans from every corner of the globe. They had last released their album on October 8, 2020, titled ‘The Album’ and had hits like ‘How You Like That’, ‘Pretty Savage’ and their International collab with Selena Gomez’s ‘Ice Cream’.
