Who is going to be a leader of the new front?

New Delhi: If a new front of opposition parties is formed then who will be its leader? Ever since Nitish Kumar met Congress leaders, this thing is being discussed. It has also been discussed that Nitish Kumar can be made the convenor of UPA. Keep in mind that the Congress-led UPA is headed by Sonia Gandhi and has never had a convenor appointed in nearly 20 years since its formation. The parties involved used the example of the NDA, whose convenor was always a leader of a partner party. But the Congress did not appoint a convenor. Moreover, Nitish Kumar's party has not even formally become a part of the UPA. That's why it is premature to talk about his becoming the convenor of UPA.

However, there is a basis for this speculation that the leaders of Nitish Kumar's party have been convenors of the NDA. When the NDA was a front of 25 parties, Jordan Fernandez was its coordinator. Later Sharad Yadav was also the convenor of NDA. Now Nitish's party is out of the NDA, so it is being said that Nitish can be the coordinator of the new alliance.
