Tourist rush in Jaipur pushes hotel prices to record highs
Jaipur: With new year round the corner, booking a hotel room on December 31 has become a challenge as most of the hotels rooms are already booked. Hotel rooms in most of the places, including Jaipur are booked.
Besides, the rush of tourists has caused a sharp rise in hotel room tariffs with some touching record levels. Luxury hotels in Kukas, Jaipur have become expensive manifolds. In super deluxe hotels, room tariff for a day is in lakhs.
Even the budget hotels have become expensive in this peak time. Meanwhile, under the leadership of CM Bhajan Lal Sharma and the brand image of Dy CM & Tourism Minister Diya Kumari is taking Rajasthan tourism towards a record. More than 20.27 cr tourists came to the state till the end of November, which is a record. The attraction of Rajasthan’s tourism products is such that on an average 6 lakh tourists are coming here every day and on an average more than 1.84 cr every month.
