"Today I am feeling very proud...": former JJP leader Devender Singh Babli after joining the BJP
New Delhi: Former Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) leaders Sunil Sangwan, Sanjay Kablana and Devender Singh Babli joined the BJP on Sunday and said that the BJP will be forming the government for a third term in the state.
Devender Singh Babli said that another term for the BJP government in Haryana is imminent and that he is ready to work hard and make the people aware of the work done by the state government.
"Today I am feeling very proud that I will get a chance to work under the leadership and vision of PM Modi. The coming time is for the BJP party...We have formed a government (at the Centre) and in the upcoming time with hard work, we will form a government in Haryana...We will make aware of the work done by the party, to the public and will form the government with majority.", said the new BJP member.
Similarly, Sunil Sangwan was also confident of a BJP government, he said, "BJP is going to form the government in Haryana for the third term...We will work hard in the party..."
BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh, Former Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Deb and Haryana BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli welcomed the new members into the party earlier today.
"The winds in Haryana are in favour of BJP for the upcoming elections. The people are excited for a third term of the BJP government in the state, because BJP has done exceptional work for the people in the state", said Arun Singh.
Former Chief Minister of Tripura and Member of Rajya Sabha, Biplap Deb also congratulated the new members of the party and mentioned that three other ex-MLAs joined BJP on Sunday, including the mayor of Ambala. "with so many people joining the BJP, it certainly shows that people favour the BJP government in the state", added Deb.
The elections in Haryana will be held in a single phase on October 5 and the counting of votes will happen on October 8.
