Tiger cub found dead in Pench reserve
Nagpur: A nine-month-old tiger cub was found dead in Maharashtra's side of the Pench Tiger Reserve (PTR) on Friday, an official said.
The cub was found dead in the evening during regular patrolling in the Chorbahuli range of core area of the tiger reserve located in Nagpur district, a release by the Deputy Director (PTR) said.
All body parts of the wild animal were found to be intact, the release said.
The cub may have been abandoned by T-66 tigress as her mother has been found roaming in the area with her another cub, it said.
The reserve is spread across Madhya Pradesh (Seoni and Chhindwara districts) and Maharashtra (Nagpur district). (PTI)
