"This is a historic budget", says Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Budget 2024

New Delhi: In a comprehensive overview of the interim union budget 2024-2025, Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Union Aviation Minister, highlighted India's remarkable transformation under Prime Minister Modi's leadership over the past decade.
"This budget thoroughly examines the historic transformation and progress India has undergone in the past decade under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, Jyotiraditya Scindia said.
Emphasizing the core pillars of society, the minister highlighted the pivotal role of farmers, women, youth, and the underprivileged in shaping the Prime Minister's visionary agenda.
"The three main goals of building a developed India, a self-reliant India, and a global leader have been pursued with utmost dedication and momentum. The four pillars of our society - farmers, women, youth, and the underprivileged - form the core of the Prime Minister's vision. Various achievements, such as infrastructure development, PM Awas Yojana, Garib Kalyan Yojana, and Ayushman card scheme, have been successfully implemented, showcasing India's advancement in diverse sectors," the Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said.
The minister also highlighted the nation's success on the global stage, citing achievements by Indian youth
"The recognition and success achieved by our youth in fields like sports, including the Olympics, highlight the nation's forward momentum, this is the time and the right time," he added.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday called the Interim Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Parliament , "inclusive and innovative".
PM Modi, in his first post-budget remarks, said that the Interim Budget empowers the four pillars of Viksit Bharat.
He further said that this budget is a reflection of the young aspirations of a young India.
"This budget is a reflection of the young aspirations of a young India. Two important decisions were made within the Budget. For research and innovation, a fund of Rs 1 lakh crore has been announced," he added.
