There is happiness, excitement among women after Women's Reservation Bill passed: Union Minister Mandaviya

Raipur: Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said in Raipur that there was happiness and excitement among women after passage of Women's Reservation Bill (Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam) in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. 
Mandaviya said, "PM Modi has given 33pc reservation to women in Vidhan Sabha and Lok Sabha after 75 years of Independence. Seeing this there's happiness and excitement among women. I came to Raipur today. At Raipur airport women welcomed me. They told me that on behalf of us to thank PM Modi."
Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya further said that after 75 years of Independence PM Modi has provided 33 per cent reservation to women for representing in Vidhan Sabha and Lok Sabha and as a consequence there is delight and happiness among the women in the entire country.
The Upper House, on Thursday, passed the bill, which provides 33 per cent reservation for women in the Lok Sabha as well as the state legislative assemblies, unanimously, with 214 members voting in support and none against.
Following the passage of the bill in Parliament, chants of 'Modi Modi' were raised by women MPs as they took turns to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the passage of the draft legislation. Women members from both Houses of Parliament, including PT Usha, and Union Ministers Meenakashi Lekhi and Smriti Irani greeted Prime Minister Modi on the historic passage of the Bill in Parliament. Later, both Houses of Parliament were adjourned sine die. Earlier, on Wednesday, the bill aced the legislative test in the Lok Sabha as it was passed by a brute majority of 454 votes in favour and just 2 against.
