Rubina Dilaik reveals who her competition is ahead of KKK12 stint

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Rubina Dilaik has always shined on the television screen with her solid acting skills, honest personality and competitive spirit. Right from her portrayal of a meek and naïve Radhika in Chotti Bahu to her strong fighting spirit in Bigg Boss 14, the actress has proved that she is here for the long run. Rubina will now again fight for the trophy in the upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi. The 12^th season of the show features some of the biggest names in the television industry along with Rubina. About her stint on KKK12 and her game strategy in this show after winning Bigg Boss, Rubina got candid with First India Telly.

Talking about her immediate reaction to signing up for the show, Rubina said, “I immediately questioned if this was a mistake. Because no one knows what is going to happen so it was like a fear of the unknown for me.”

She agreed that she feels the pressure of the expectations that everyone has from her after her triumph in the Bigg Boss house. “I think about it for a moment and then dump the thought. This is a show where you cannot predict anything. It is about the moment and the instantaneous reaction to the fears that you feel during a given task. I cannot give any guarantees right now,” the actress revealed.

She further added, “There is no preparation that can be done for this. You cannot really bring rats, snakes and other animals at home and get used to them. Nor can you try to drown yourself. So, I think there is nothing that can be done for this show. Preparation would be the years and years you have worked on your fears and phobias. That will be helpful here.”

Rubina revealed that she is really looking forward to meeting Rohit Shetty, the host of KKK12. Rubina stated, “Abhinav (husband) has praised him so much. We all have seen him conduct the show so well and all that I have heard about him has been nothing but praise. Now let’s see what camaraderie I would share with him.”

She further lauded her husband, actor Abhinav Shukla as one of the best players in Khatron Ke Khiladi while also stating that he did not give her any tips for her stint on the show. “He has his own fears and limitations and I have my own. His strategy will never work for me. He just said that when I go there, I will have to do my own thing,” she revealed.

Rubina shared that she feels that every co-contestant is her competition. She stated, “Every person has their own strength which I may not possess. The same could be said about me. But the beauty of the show is that the competition here is healthy. Here everyone would be cheering for each other. I think that the competition is the fear that we are going to deal with.”
