Road safety is collective responsibility: CM
Jaipur: CM Bhajan Lal Sharma said on Thursday road safety is a collective responsibility, in which the government, administration, and public all have essential contributions. CM instructed all depts to work in mission mode to reduce road accidents.
He said accident-prone areas should be identified and promptly repaired, and black spots across the state should be prioritized for improvement. Sharma was addressing the road safety review meeting held at CMR on Thursday. He said from January, special campaigns will be launched to raise awareness about road safety, including programs in schools, colleges, workplaces. The CM said road safety is an important issue, and various depts should work in coordination to minimize road accidents, including transport and road safety, police and others.
