Raj remembers 216 police martyrs

Jaipur: On Police Martyrs’ Day, Rajasthan’s Director General of Police (DGP) Utkal Ranjan Sahoo honored the memory of 216 police personnel who sacrificed their lives for the nation between September 2023 and August 2024. The event, held at the Rajasthan Police Academy, included a solemn tribute to fallen officers, including ASI Ramchandra and others.

DGP Sahoo emphasized the importance of serving the nation with integrity, drawing inspiration from these martyrs. The ceremony featured a guard of honor and wreath-laying, attended by senior officials. Following the tribute, a blood donation camp, tree plantation, and cleanliness drive were also organized as part of the programme, with 117 officers participating in blood donation as a mark of respect.

Police officers from Police Headquarters, Rajasthan Police Academy and Jaipur Commissionerate along with other police officers and personnel were present in these events in Monday.
